With Victoria Beckham’s new country style vogue cover out on Monday I wanted to do a little style file of my favourite looks thatshe has donned over the years, that have made her into style icon. So without further ado, here are my favourites:

This look is from the Chanel spring/Summer 2007 show, I love her shift from pop princess style of bold and flashy colors instead here Victoria adopts a more mature and sophisticated look with the cute ruffles and chic white dress.

This look was in 2009. I love this look as the style is reminiscent of the old Hollywood stars like Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn with the plain oversized coat and lady like bag.

This look was from 2013. Victoria’s style here is chic and smart, I think her style at this time reflected her business mind as she exuded a sharp and smart style.

This look was one of my favourites! Victoria stepped up her style and showed her confidence in her own vision by donning her own label to the 2014 Met Gala. This dress is simple, bright and chic, all elements of which Victoria channels into her collections to empower women and flatter their figure.

I think Victoria’s style has undeniably changed over the years. From being in a pop group to branching out into the world of fashion and creating a brand that would later place her name alongside some of the greats. Victoria’s chameleon like style has enabled her to change with the times and also express herself through her style. Whether she wears a very feminine look or a sharp tailored suit Victoria always seems to pull it off. Perhaps the lesson to be learned from her style is that once you find a style that suits you go with it! Additionally maybe the real lesson is that we should embrace our style and understand that we can have many different sides to our style, and by branching out of our comfort zone by exploring a tailored suit or overly feminine look could be the key to finding what looks we really love! Until next time…
